Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to design and implement effective instructional strategies and practices.
- Provide individualized coaching and support to educators in areas such as lesson planning, classroom management, and assessment techniques.
- Conduct classroom observations and provide constructive feedback to teachers to promote continuous improvement.
- Facilitate professional development workshops and training sessions on best practices in teaching and learning.
- Assist in the development and implementation of curriculum materials and instructional resources.
- Analyze student performance data to identify trends and areas for growth, and support teachers in developing targeted interventions.
- Foster a positive and collaborative school culture by promoting open communication and teamwork among staff.
- Stay current with educational research, trends, and best practices to inform coaching strategies and professional development initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of teaching experience in a K-12 setting.
- Proven experience in instructional coaching or mentoring teachers is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of instructional strategies, assessment practices, and curriculum development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with educators and students.
- Ability to analyze data and use it to inform instructional decisions.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for improving student outcomes.
- Knowledge of diverse learning needs and strategies for supporting all learners.
- Flexibility to work part-time hours and adapt to the needs of the school community.
