Quality Inspector

Twin City Staffing is hiring a quality inspector to join a precision manufacturing team in Hudson! This technical, hands-on role focuses on high-level inspection of wire harnesses and cable assemblies. If you have experience with blueprints, FAIR/PPAP documentation, and IPC standards, we want to talk to you!

Location: Hudson, WI

Wage: $20.00 – $23.00/hr. (DOQ)

Hours: 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM | Monday – Thursday

Duties of the quality inspector:

• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Inspect wire harnesses to IPC/WHMA-A-620 standards
• Coordinate FAIRs and PPAP package documentation
• Conduct in-process and final quality inspections
• Perform resistance, continuity, and electrical testing
• Identify and document quality issues via NCR forms
• Review work orders and BOMs for production accuracy
• Log inspection data and reports using Microsoft Excel

Requirements of the quality inspector:

• 1–3 years of experience in QA or electrical inspection
• Experience with FAIR, PPAP, or first article processes
• High school diploma or GED
• Working knowledge of IPC/WHMA-A-620 Class 2 standards
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and non-conformance processes
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry
• Physical ability to lift 25–50 lbs. occasionally
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
