Job type: Direct hire
Location: Coon Rapids, MN
Wage: $35.00 – $39.00/hr.
Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM | Monday – Friday

Duties of the grinder machinist:
- Set up and operate CNC, manual, and ID/OD/surface grinders
- Produce components with extremely tight tolerances
- Interpret complex blueprints and GD&T specifications
- Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and height gauges
- Determine inspection methods with or without dedicated fixtures
- Troubleshoot machine issues and make technical adjustments
- Participate in 5S and Kaizen improvement initiatives
- Support team development and share technical expertise
Requirements of the grinder machinist:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience with CNC or manual grinders (ID/OD/Surface)
- Advanced blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency
- Background in precision machining or tool & die
- Skilled with precision measurement tools and ERP systems
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and dependable work habits
