On behalf of our client, a large financial services firm headquartered in Bethesda, we are looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a yearly compensation of up to $105,000 plus bonus based on experience. This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days of in office availability. Ideal candidates will be able to start immediately.
Responsibilities
- Manage the month-end close process and process financial transactions
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules
- Review and analyze monthly financial reports and budgets
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Assist with month-end close process and month-end reconciliation process
- Assist with preparation of journal entries for all company accounts
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- Financial services, loan accounting, or public accounting industry experience.
Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
