Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that’s looking for a Senior External Reporting Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 3 years of experience, driven, and analytical. The Senior External Reporting Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Contribute to the maintenance of internal financial controls to ensure integrity of external reporting, including procedures surrounding completeness and accuracy of the data being utilized in external reporting.
- Identify efficiencies and implement process improvements surrounding external reporting.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and analysis of the annual sustainability report and other required sustainability reporting.
- Develop technical and research expertise regarding Financial Accounting Standards Board (FASB), GAAP, SEC, regulatory and other guidance.
- Work with and assist internal, external and regulatory auditors in the course of their inquiries, audits or examinations.
- Collaborates to complete team projects and process improvement strategies.
- Ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned.
The Senior External Reporting Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. CPA preferred.
- 3 years of Accounting and/or Finance experience.
- SEC experience preferred.
- Demonstrate a forward-thinking and continuous improvement mindset.
- Driven and results oriented.
