Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area that’s looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. Our client is looking for someone with 5 years of experience, detail-oriented, and who has excellent communication skills. The salary for this position is $100k - $120k.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the coordination of global financial planning and forecasting processes, including standardization across the business units
- Support the progression of forecasting to a driver-based approach, incorporating both internal and external drivers of business performance
- Collaborate with accounting on month end results, including P&L and balance sheet activity
- Lead the consolidation and preparation of monthly financial results, annual budget, semi-annual forecasts, and business metrics
- Develop and prepare regular reports and presentations for management, summarizing company performance, trends, and improvement initiatives along with actionable insights
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by management
The Senior Financial Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 5 years of experience in progressive finance roles
- 2 years of experience working in an FP&A role
- Experience in industrial manufacturing or distribution environment is preferred
- Advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CTP, FPAC) is a plus
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and modern software
