Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee area looking for a Senior Analyst. Our client is looking for someone who has 2 years of related experience, consolidation experience and a strong attention to detail.
The Senior Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation process across multiple entities and business units.
- Prepare and record consolidation and elimination journal entries to ensure accurate company-wide financial reporting.
- Reconcile intercompany balances and investigate discrepancies between entities to ensure timely resolution.
- Review and analyze consolidation activity, account reconciliations, and general ledger balances for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the preparation of internal and external financial reporting packages, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Partner with accounting teams to ensure consistent application of accounting policies and reporting procedures.
- Perform variance analysis and provide insights into financial results, trends, and key drivers.
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Maintain and improve consolidation processes, reporting tools, and documentation to drive efficiency and accuracy.
- Assist with external audit requests and provide supporting schedules and reconciliations as needed.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Accounting, and operational teams to support strategic initiatives and reporting needs.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, corporate policies, and applicable accounting standards.
The Senior Analyst will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2 years of related experience. Including consolidation experience.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
