Our client is an organization in the Milwaukee County area that’s looking for a Senior Accountant. Our client is looking for someone with 3 years of experience, organized, and who has high attention to detail. The salary for this position is $105K.
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the month-end close process, including completing journal entries and general ledger reconciliations within the targeted close window.
- Maintain the general ledger to ensure complete and accurate financial statements.
- Process payroll accurately and timely.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage related treasury activities.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting efficiency.
- Lead the annual financial audit and coordinate with external auditors.
- Develop new reports using FP&A software and modify existing reports to meet evolving business needs.
The Senior Accountant will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3 years of progressive accounting experience.
- CPA certification and Big 4 public accounting experience preferred.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasional travel for meetings, training, or interoffice support.
