We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior IT Support Analyst to join our clients dynamic, fast-paced IT team. This role is pivotal in ensuring software compliance across the organization, supporting software asset management (SAM) initiatives, and optimizing software licensing and usage. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in software compliance, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative mindset. This position is a long term contract role to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day software compliance operations, including tracking, maintaining, and fulfilling service tickets.
• Recommend optimal licensing options based on usage patterns and organizational needs.
• Develop structured processes for software oversight and lifecycle management.
• Provision and manage cloud-based software, ensuring compliance and cost efficiency.
• Utilize SaaS and cloud cost consumption tools for license tracking and optimization.
• Create and implement processes and technologies for software procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
• Develop and execute scripts to support software audits and enhance visibility into license utilization.
• Support ticketing systems and generate reports to inform IT leadership and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of a new Software Asset Management (SAM) system.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant IT support experience, with 7–10 years specifically in software compliance and licensing.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe, Snag-it, SCCM Scripts, and Titanium.
• Familiarity with help desk application software and support techniques for hardware, networking, and software.
• Strong understanding of personal computer operating systems and office productivity suites.
• Experience with advanced operations of laptops, projectors, digital/video cameras, and mobile devices.
• National Helpdesk Certification (A is a plus, but not required)
