Manager, Underwriting Compliance
Our client—a growing regional P&C carrier—is seeking a strategic and detail-oriented leader to join their Business Underwriting Compliance & Technology team. As Manager, Underwriting Compliance, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring regulatory excellence, data integrity, and operational efficiency across underwriting functions.

What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for underwriting compliance and reporting
- Lead business-side support for data exchange with vendors, bureaus, and regulators
- Manage and optimize inbound/outbound data feeds and reporting pipelines
- Oversee implementation of regulatory and product-driven reporting changes
- Conduct audits, troubleshoot reporting errors, and ensure data accuracy
- Collaborate with IT and Legal to resolve compliance issues and implement fixes
- Supervise a small team of compliance and reporting specialists
- Use SQL to audit, validate, and enhance data quality
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of relevant experience (supervisory experience preferred)
- Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret technical specifications
- Expertise in business process design, system operations, and regulatory reporting
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with insurance systems and compliance standards
- Proven ability to collaborate across business, legal, and technical teams
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
