We have an outstanding opportunity for an Accounting Assistant with a very stable and growing company. This position assists with a variety of areas in the accounting functions including Accounts Payable, Payroll and Accounts Receivable. This opportunity is a Temp to Hire role.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assist with monthly reporting
- Issue/ Track Purchase Orders to Subcontractors
- Processing Subcontractor Invoices
- Subcontractor Compliance Maintenance (track & request)
- Generate P&L reports
- AR follow up and collection calls
- Credit card reconciliation for multiple users
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Must be a detailed and precise individual with the ability to maintain and support our reporting deadlines.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Knowledge of Certified Payroll and Prevailing Wage a plus
- Experience in the construction industry a plus
- Spanish is a plus
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Attention to detail and precision

Pay range
$26.00- $28.00
