Construction  Accounting Assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable General Accounting Assistant to join our client's team. This role supports the Controller across a range of accounting functions in a construction environment. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude, thrives in a varied workload, and is eager to continue learning on the job.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry and processing
• Support prevailing wage payroll functions
• Maintain compliance with DOT requirements
• Utilize LCP Tracker for certified payroll and compliance reporting
• Assist with construction accounting tasks as directed by the Controller
• Handle general data entry with a high degree of accuracy
• Take on additional accounting and administrative tasks as the role evolves

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience in construction accounting
• Proficiency in AP/AR data entry
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
• Upbeat, team-oriented attitude

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LCP Tracker
• Prevailing wage payroll experience
• Familiarity with DOT compliance requirements
