Job Title: Project Manager – Workday Advanced Compensation
Location: 1390 Enclave Pkwy, Houston, TX 77077, USA
Pay Rate: $80.00–$100.00 per hour
Schedule: Hybrid – Monday to Wednesday in the office; Thursday and Friday remote (6 month contract)
Role Overview:
We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the implementation of Workday Advanced Compensation. This role requires managing scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives while driving project delivery and coordinating cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will engage with stakeholders, manage dependencies, and ensure project milestones are achieved, with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Ownership: Lead all aspects of Workday Advanced Compensation projects to deliver approved business functionality.
- Planning & Execution: Define and execute project scope, approach, assumptions, dependencies, risks, and budgets.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and dependent projects to develop detailed schedules and ensure alignment.
- Lifecycle Management: Manage change requests, issue resolution, risk mitigation, and status reporting.
- Budget Oversight: Track project budgets, including purchases, contracts, monthly spend, and resource forecasting.
- Vendor Management: Facilitate purchase requisitions and onboard third-party resources.
- Risk & Issue Resolution: Resolve low-risk issues and escalate higher risks to senior leadership.
- Communication: Develop and deliver presentations to stakeholders as needed.
- Methodology Application: Apply or adapt project management techniques and methodologies to solve project challenges.
Essential Requirements:
- Experience: 7–10 years of project management experience.
- Workday Expertise: Deep knowledge of Workday Advanced Compensation with emphasis on global implementations.
- Global Scope: Experience implementing compensation programs for annual merit and bonus cycles across multiple countries (~15).
- Localization: Ability to establish compensation statements in local languages (approximately 5 languages).
- Cross-Cultural Coordination: Ensure compliance and consistency across multiple regions and languages.
