A client in Howard County is seeking a Senior Property/Construction Accountant to maintain financial integrity for a portfolio of development projects. Fantastic benefits, bonus, and stock options!
Responsibilities:
- Various monthly duties: labor allocation journal entries & reporting, revenue accounting & reporting
- Assist with depreciation reviews
- Cost accounting – maintain historical books through all development phases
- Review/maintain job cost ledger
- Identify/resolve discrepancies
- Provide support and reports for project managers
- Audit work papers
- Manage budgets/estimates in job cost system
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
- CPA preferred
- 4-6 years of relevant experience required
- Prior construction and/or property accounting experience preferred
- Experience with Yardi Voyager preferred
Salary : $90,000 - $115,000
