About the Role
Our client is a growing commercial contractor seeking a leader to own the finance function through its next phase of growth. Reporting directly to ownership, you'll bring greater visibility to project performance, strengthen financial processes, and help build the systems needed to support a larger, more scalable organization.
What You'll Own
- Lead WIP reporting, job costing, and project profitability analysis.
- Manage cash flow forecasting and provide timely financial insights to leadership.
- Partner with Project Managers to review budgets, track performance, and improve margins.
- Strengthen accounting controls, compliance, and subcontractor prequalification processes.
- Serve as the primary contact for auditors, CPA firms, banks, and other financial partners.
- Help evaluate and implement ERP solutions and process improvements across the business.
What We'd Like
- Experience in commercial construction or a related project-based environment.
- Strong understanding of WIP schedules, job costing, and construction accounting.
- Experience improving processes, implementing systems, or leading ERP projects.
- A hands-on leadership style with the ability to operate strategically and tactically.
