Shipping & Receiving Associate
Pay: Starting at $18.00 per hour (Performance-based increase upon permanent hire)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM-3:30 PM
Overtime: 6:00 AM-4:30 PM as needed, with occasional weekends is a must.

Shipping & Receiving Associate – Must-Have Requirements
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16 inch
- Experience operating a sit-down forklift
- Ability to safely operate hand tools and air tools
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to routinely lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds
- Steel-toed boots required
Shipping & Receiving Associate – Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable Shipping & Receiving Associate to support daily warehouse and shipping operations. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, inspecting parts, preparing outbound shipments, loading and unloading trucks, and ensuring customer orders are complete and accurate. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to following established procedures in a manufacturing environment.
This position requires reliable attendance during the training period and a commitment to following workplace policies and procedures. Employees are expected to participate in daily housekeeping duties, maintain a clean and organized work area, take notes during training, and follow all safety and security requirements. Personal cell phone use is not permitted during working hours and may only occur during scheduled breaks and lunch. Steel-toed boots are required, while all other required personal protective equipment will be provided.
Shipping & Receiving Associate – Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Shipping & Receiving
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks safely and efficiently
- Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against purchase orders
- Inspect parts for accuracy before acceptance
- Prepare and stage outgoing shipments for delivery
- Build and package hardware kits and shipping boxes according to shipping documentation
- Ensure all required components are included before shipment
Quality Control
- Measure machined parts using a tape measure and verify dimensions
- Compare received parts to blueprints and specifications when required
- Identify and report damaged, incorrect, or nonconforming materials
- Maintain accurate receiving and shipping records
Warehouse Operations
- Operate sit-down forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely
- Use hand tools and air tools as needed
- Maintain an organized and clean work area
- Assist with general shop duties and warehouse support as assigned
Facility & Team Responsibilities
- Participate in routine shop cleaning and housekeeping duties
- Assist with cleaning common work areas on a rotating schedule
- Work cooperatively with production, warehouse, and management teams
- Follow all safety policies and company procedures
Shipping & Receiving Associate – Additional Qualifications
- Ability to read 2D and 3D blueprints preferred
- Previous manufacturing or industrial warehouse experience preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime when required
- Positive attitude with the ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
