Contract Analyst | Tulsa, OK
Are you a data-driven professional with experience in healthcare contracting, reimbursement, and financial analysis? We are seeking a Contract Analyst to support contract negotiations, reimbursement modeling, and contract performance monitoring. This role plays a critical part in maximizing revenue opportunities, analyzing payer agreements, and providing strategic insights that support organizational decision-making.
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, healthcare reimbursement knowledge, and the ability to translate complex contract language into actionable business insights. This position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with leadership, finance, operations, and technical teams to support contract strategy and financial performance.
Must Have
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Three (3) to four (4) years of healthcare contracting, reimbursement, financial analysis, or related experience.
- Experience with health plan insurance contracting and provider/facility reimbursement methodologies.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Epic certification in assigned application modules.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex data and financial information.
- Experience working with Microsoft Excel and other reporting and analytical tools.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Experience
- Contract negotiations and contract language interpretation.

What You'll Do
- Analyze payer contracts and communicate operational and financial impacts to key stakeholders.
- Develop financial models, projections, and analyses for existing and proposed contracts.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance to ensure expected reimbursement outcomes.
- Audit financial performance and collaborate with payers to resolve reimbursement discrepancies.
- Review and negotiate contract language during contracting processes.
- Develop, maintain, and analyze data sets required for contract evaluation and reporting.
- Create and improve departmental processes related to contract management and monitoring.
- Investigate and resolve contractual disputes through collaboration with internal and external partners.
- Build, test, and maintain reimbursement and contract projection models within Epic.
- Perform ongoing analysis to ensure the accuracy and integrity of contract reimbursement expectations.
- Identify and resolve programming and reimbursement issues to optimize revenue performance.
- Partner with technical teams to test, implement, and enhance contract modeling functionality.
- Support organizational contract negotiation strategies through data-driven recommendations.
