JOB TITLE: Supervisor, Computer Operations
LOCATION: Hybrid or on-site within Florida (remote may be allowed; on-site presence may be required with advance notice; flexibility required)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
COMPENSATION: $90,000–$110,000 base salary
WORK AUTHORIZATION: U.S. citizenship required; ability to pass a background check

POSITION OVERVIEW
Supervise daily computer operations to ensure reliability, availability, and performance of enterprise systems. The Supervisor of Computer Operations will coordinate schedules, oversee operators and technicians, and ensure compliance with operational standards. Flexibility is required to manage both routine operations and evolving client requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise computer operations staff and daily workload assignments
- Monitor system performance, batch jobs, and scheduled processing
- Troubleshoot and escalate operational issues to managers or engineers as needed
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and governance standards
- Maintain documentation for operations processes, procedures, and reporting
- Train and mentor computer operators and support staff
- Support incident management, recovery, and continuity procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and operational reliability
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4 years of IT/computer operations experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, monitoring, and scheduling tools
- Familiarity with both on-premises and cloud-based computing environments
- Excellent communication, leadership, and troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility to support multiple shifts and hybrid environments
NICE TO HAVE
- Public-sector or regulated industry experience
- ITIL or equivalent operations/process management certification
- Experience with automation or orchestration tools
