COMPENSATION: $105,000–$130,000 base salary
WORK AUTHORIZATION: U.S. citizenship required; ability to pass a background check

POSITION OVERVIEW
Oversee enterprise computer operations, ensuring system availability, efficiency, and security across multiple environments. The Manager of Computer Operations will supervise staff, manage daily operations, and drive process improvements to support mission-critical workloads. Flexibility is required to balance hands-on troubleshooting with strategic planning.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage daily computer operations including monitoring, scheduling, and system availability
- Lead and mentor computer operators, technicians, and support staff
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and governance standards
- Oversee system performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident response
- Develop and maintain operational policies, documentation, and procedures
- Partner with IT leadership to align operations with enterprise goals
- Support disaster recovery, business continuity, and capacity planning
- Track performance metrics and drive continuous improvement initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- 7 years of IT operations experience, with 3 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of enterprise systems, scheduling tools, and monitoring platforms
- Familiarity with mainframe, distributed, and cloud-based computing environments
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving client and technology requirements
NICE TO HAVE
- Public-sector or regulated industry experience
- ITIL or equivalent operations management certification
- Experience with automation, orchestration, or monitoring tools
