Mechanical Contractor specializing in HVAC construction, installation, and maintenance is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill the role of a HVAC Estimator on a full time basis. The Estimator will report directly to the Director of Estimating, be responsible for assisting in developing cost estimates on hi-rise and interior projects, under the direct supervision of senior management.Description:Review construction drawings / documents and scope of work to bid.Perform quantity takeoff and pricing for bidding purposesObtain pricing for material and equipment that is to be utilized for each projectPrepare cost analysis by recapitulating material, labor, equipment, subcontractor and overhead costs incurred in the installation of items.Prepare RFI’s and other written correspondence to clientsMaintain organized documentation, specifications, estimates, submittals and contract drawings.Qualification:Minimum 5 years’ experience as an estimator in a HVAC/Mechanical companyAbility to multi-task, work in a fast pace environmentMust possess proper written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to pay close attention to detail and have good analytical and mathematical skills
Salary : $100,000 - $130,000
