Responsibilities:
- Conduct Helicopter Air Ambulance (HAA) operations in full compliance with CAMTS guidelines.
- Serve as Captain for EC135 SPIFR/NVG missions, providing essential medical transport.
- Execute 24-hour operations on rotating day and night schedules.
- Perform line pilot duties according to company policies and procedures.
- Support safety initiatives, including the Safety Management System (SMS) and Destination Zero.
- Participate in community outreach programs as a company representative.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external customers.
- Contribute as a dependable team player to ensure safe, efficient, and courteous patient transport.
Requirements:
- Commercial and Instrument Helicopter ratings.
- Current First Class Medical Certificate.
- Meet CAMTS flight-hour requirements:
-2,000 total flight hours
-1,500 helicopter hours
-1,000 hours PIC (helicopter)
-500 hours turbine helicopter
-100 hours unaided night or 50 hours unaided night 100 hours NVG
-75 hours instrument time
- Ability to comply with company weight restriction policy (max 235 lbs).
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Successful completion of pre-placement physical exam, drug screening, and background checks.
- Residence within one hour of assigned base.
