Responsibilities:

Oversee and schedule all avionics work orders, ensuring upgrades, inspections, and installations comply with FAA regulations and company protocols.

Coordinate collaboratively with maintenance, engineering, and project management teams to meet timelines and exceed customer expectations.

Provide accurate quotes for installations, parts, and inspections to ensure cost-effective project planning.

Lead and mentor a team of avionics technicians through training, feedback, and fostering a results-driven culture.

Ensure compliance by accurately documenting all repairs and installations, supporting audits, and maintaining regulatory standards.

Promote safety and quality by enforcing best practices, verifying completed work, and resolving issues promptly.

Communicate effectively with clients and project managers regarding project scope, progress, and technical concerns.
Requirements:

FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant (A&P) License or Repairman Certificate preferred.

Familiarity with Citation aircraft preferred.

5 years of experience in aircraft avionics installation, troubleshooting, and repair.

Previous leadership or supervisory experience in an avionics environment.

Strong knowledge of FARs (especially Part 145), avionics systems (e.g., Garmin, Honeywell), wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance tracking systems (e.g., Corridor).

Problem-solving mindset focused on quality, safety, and efficiency.
