PROJECT COORDINATOR
TORQ Coatings | Lombard, IL
Compensation: $50,000 - $60,000 Base Salary (Based on Experience)
Full-Time | Monday-Friday
Schedule: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
Previous project coordination, production scheduling, construction administration, logistics coordination, or operations experience strongly preferred.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Project Coordinator who can help keep our projects, customers, sales team, production team, and suppliers aligned and moving efficiently.

This is not an entry-level administrative position.
We are looking for someone who has successfully managed multiple moving pieces in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being the person who keeps everything organized.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and an exceptional communicator. You enjoy solving problems, managing schedules, working with customers, and ensuring projects stay on track.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
Project Coordination & Scheduling
• Coordinate projects from contract signing through completion
• Schedule installations with homeowners and production teams
• Manage production calendars and crew schedules
• Confirm project readiness before installation
• Monitor upcoming projects and proactively identify potential issues
• Assist with production capacity planning
Customer Communication
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers after the sale
• Conduct scheduling and pre-installation calls
• Provide project updates and timeline expectations
• Coordinate post-installation follow-up communication
• Help ensure every customer receives the TORQ experience
Sales & Production Support
• Act as the bridge between Sales and Production
• Review sold projects for accuracy and completeness
• Verify project details, measurements, colors, and scope of work
• Coordinate project changes and updates
• Assist with service and warranty requests
• Ensure crews receive complete and accurate job information
Inventory & Material Coordination
• Monitor inventory levels and material requirements
• Coordinate material orders with suppliers
• Maintain inventory tracking systems
• Ensure crews have materials available before installation dates
• Assist with warehouse and inventory organization
Reporting & Administrative Support
• Maintain accurate CRM records
• Track project progress and job statuses
• Generate reports and operational scorecards
• Support leadership with reporting and administrative tasks
• Assist in documenting and improving operational processes
REQUIRED SKILLS
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detail-oriented and process-driven
• Comfortable working with technology and CRM systems
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
• 2 years of project coordination experience
• Production scheduling experience
• Construction administration experience
• Operations coordination experience
• Logistics coordination experience
• Home improvement, construction, or trades experience preferred
