Position Overview
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) will be responsible for owning the entire marketing function of TORQ Coatings. This is a leadership role for a highly analytical, growth-minded marketer who understands how to generate demand, manage budgets, build teams, and create predictable revenue growth.
This is not a brand-only role.
We are looking for someone who understands performance marketing, lead generation, customer acquisition, attribution, analytics, CRM automation, and marketing ROI. The ideal candidate can think strategically while also rolling up their sleeves and executing.
The CMO will work directly with the Founder/CEO and oversee all marketing initiatives, agencies, vendors, internal team members, and future marketing hires.

Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Leadership
* Develop and execute the company’s overall marketing strategy
* Build annual, quarterly, and monthly marketing plans
* Create market expansion strategies for new territories
* Work directly with leadership on growth initiatives
* Manage and develop the internal marketing team
* Recruit and mentor future marketing talent
Performance Marketing
* Own paid advertising across Meta, Google, YouTube, Local Services Ads, OTT/CTV, and emerging platforms
* Optimize campaign performance and lead quality
* Continuously improve customer acquisition costs
* Manage agency relationships and vendor accountability
* Allocate and optimize marketing budgets
Analytics & Revenue Attribution
* Track all marketing KPIs
* Build executive dashboards and reporting systems
* Analyze campaign performance and ROI
* Understand lead-to-sale conversion metrics
* Develop attribution models for marketing investments
* Present weekly and monthly performance reports
CRM & Marketing Automation
* Oversee CRM optimization and customer journey automation
* Improve speed-to-lead systems
* Manage lead nurturing campaigns
* Implement AI and automation tools
* Increase conversion rates throughout the customer lifecycle
Brand & Content Strategy
* Ensure consistency across all channels
* Oversee social media strategy
* Direct video production and creative initiatives
* Develop customer testimonial systems
* Manage reputation and review generation campaigns
Market Expansion
* Assist with launching new territories
* Conduct market research and competitive analysis
* Support recruiting efforts through employer branding

Qualifications
Required
* 7 years of marketing leadership experience
* 3 years leading marketing teams
* Proven experience managing six and seven-figure marketing budgets
* Strong understanding of digital advertising platforms
* Experience building marketing systems and reporting structures
* Advanced knowledge of marketing analytics
* Strong leadership and communication skills
