What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cafe Attendant - Seasonal position at Timberbanks CC Inc?
Availability: Must be available weekdays, nights, weekends and holidays
Duration: Late August for training. Starting beginning of September-Early November (weather dependent)
Job description: Timber Café is our golf course café selling simple food items and beverages. Employees would be responsible for cashing out customers on food and drink items. This includes checking the age of customers when purchasing age-restricted items. (alcoholic beverages, cigars etc.)
Qualifications:
You must be 18 years or older to serve alcoholic drinks
High school diploma or equivalent required
Responsibilities:
Ensure that quality and safety standards are met for any food or drink sold at the café (checking expiration dates)
Ability to lift a maximum of 30 lbs. while re-stocking items
Cash out and clean up after their shift and leave it in an acceptable condition for the next shift
Taking customer orders via the counter window and answering the phone for orders placed over the phone
Stocking drinks (from the drink garage) into drink coolers / side wall
Ability to cash out customers using a POS system
Make simple food items using a grill
Maintaining the cleanliness of bathrooms every shift right next to the cafe
Checking guests' ID if purchasing alcohol, cigars or N/A beers
Cashing out the drawer (bank) back to its original starting amount, and in charge of processing / handling anyprofits made that day
Closing the shack using the employee checklist
Stocking food fridges / freezers
Relaying items that are low / out to your supervisor
Perform other duties as needed/assigned
