Banquet Bartender

Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Banquet Bartender to elevate our guests' event experiences through exceptional beverage service. In this role, you will craft and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring each guest receives personalized attention. Your expertise in mixology, beverage presentation, and customer service will help create memorable occasions at our venue. Duties

• Prepare and serve a wide range of beverages, including cocktails, wine, beer, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards
• Manage bar inventory by restocking supplies, monitoring stock levels, and placing orders as needed to ensure seamless service during events
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Engage with guests professionally and enthusiastically to provide excellent customer service and enhance their event experience
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Collaborate with catering staff and event coordinators to ensure timely beverage service aligned with event schedules
• Develop creative beverage recipes and contribute ideas for signature drinks that complement event themes or client preferences

Qualifications

• Proven experience in bartending within banquet, fine dining, or hospitality settings; banquet experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple events simultaneously while maintaining high-quality service
• Demonstrated customer service excellence with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Food handling certification and food safety knowledge required; understanding of food industry standards essential
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and inventory management
• Experience with catering or banquet operations highly desirable; hospitality industry experience preferred
