Hospice Social Worker – Mountain Grove, West Plains & Licking, MO
Three Rivers Hospice is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our hospice team serving the Mountain Grove, West Plains, and Licking, Missouri areas.
This position is an important part of our interdisciplinary hospice team, providing emotional support, resources, counseling, and guidance to patients and families during the end-of-life journey.
Education Requirement – Please Read Before Applying
Due to federal hospice regulations, applicants MUST possess one of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (BSW)
- OR
- Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW)Degrees in psychology, counseling, sociology, human services, or other related fields do NOT meet the educational requirements for this position.
Applicants must specifically hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Social Work.
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree specifically in Social Work
- Compassionate and professional approach to patients and families
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary hospice team
- Must be willing and able to travel throughout the entire Mountain Grove, West Plains, and Licking territory
- Reliable transportation required
