Founding Account Executive - Hybrid - Manhattan, NYC - Full Time
Our client (A Seed Stage Startup) is looking for an Account Executive with 2 years of full-cycle sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota, in healthcare technology. You will be the first sales hires and will play a critical role in defining how to go to market. You’ll partner directly with the CEO and leadership team to expand their customer base, close enterprise health system contracts, and establish trusted relationships that become the foundation of long-term revenue growth.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience of full-cycle closing experience beating quota in healthcare tech (must be an IC still)
- Sold B2B software to acute or post-acute care systems (hospitals, assisted living facilities, nursing).
- Familiar with modern sales tech stacks and AI tools
- Can relocate to New York City and come into office 2-3 times/week
- Comfortable operating within 12–18 month sales cycles involving multiple executive stakeholders and competing organizational priorities
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and identify new enterprise sales opportunities with health systems and provider groups and bring in new business
- Lead discovery to understand prospects’ challenges, existing software stacks, and unmet needs
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound outreach, referrals, and strategic networking at industry events
- Deliver compelling product demos and presentations
- Structure and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts that drive both customer success and company growth
- Develop and maintain documentation for sales processes, qualification frameworks, account notes, and partner relationship workflows
