Responsibilities
- Drive and execute business development strategies to acquire new clients in the Manufacturing industry.
- Create new business opportunities, including new logo acquisitions and growth of select existing relationships.
- Generate demand for a broad portfolio of solutions and services across manufacturing sub-verticals.
- Establish and nurture CXO-level relationships to build market momentum and shape large deals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and industry SMEs to proactively develop and close high-value opportunities.
- Achieve TCV growth targets through consultative selling, proactive demand generation, and thought leadership.
Requirements
- 12–15 years of experience in business development and consultative selling, primarily in the Manufacturing vertical.
- Broad understanding of manufacturing sub-verticals such as Industrial, Automotive, Chemicals & Process; deep expertise in at least one sub-vertical preferred.
- Strong local network and connections with alumni, industry associations, and regional business communities.
- Experience with supplier selection processes, including RFI/RFP issuance and response management.
- Proven ability to create proactive, discussion-led deals with CXOs.
- Background in a leading IT services or consulting firm with global collaboration experience preferred.
- Direct industry experience in manufacturing companies is desirable.
