Theoris are currently looking for an Engineering Recruiter to attract candidates to interview and hire great employees. The successful recruiter will collaborate with Theoris clients (internal and external) on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. You should also be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Engineering Recruiter is to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various recruiting tools
- Match candidates’ strengths with clients’ requirements by evaluating, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Negotiate wages, terms and conditions of employment with candidates, and gain a commitment from candidates for current and future job requirements.
- Manage consultant/contractor base while on assignment. Assess and investigate consultant/contractor related problems, and administer performance counseling, coaching, and disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Work with Client Services to identify top accounts, target skill sets, key market segments, and assess clients’ staffing requirements.
- Communicate effectively with others in order to create a productive and diverse environment.
- Communicate with peers by sharing recruiting “best practices” and providing accurate, thorough documentation on applicant tracking systems or other documentation tools.
- Maintain relationships with industry contacts to provide exemplary customer service, gain industry knowledge, and obtain referrals and sales leads.
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or equivalent
- Desire to learn in a fast-paced environment and be capable of regularly using independent judgment and discretion to accomplish goals and work requirements
- Well organized and highly detail oriented
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel
- Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks without compromising quality or service
- Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently through verbal and written correspondence
- Ability to work independently as well as on a team
- Excellent customer service, sales, and relationship building skills
- Strong work ethic motivated by results
- Must have 2 years of engineering recruitment experience within the manufacturing space
