Overview:
Theoris is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer with a strong background in CNC programming to support production and process optimization within a medical device manufacturing environment. This role focuses on developing, improving, and troubleshooting machining processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
Develop and optimize CNC programs for machining operations (mills, lathes, etc.)
Support process development, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Troubleshoot machining and production issues on the shop floor
Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams
Ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards (FDA/GMP)
Review and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and technical drawings
Improve cycle times, tooling, and overall manufacturing efficiency
Support new product introduction and process validation activities
Requirements:
3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering with CNC programming
Experience with CNC machines and programming (G-code, Mastercam, etc.)
Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&T
Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment preferred
