Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead CNC Milling Set Up Technician with strong experience in multi-axis CNC milling. This role is critical to ensuring accurate setups, efficient production, and adherence to strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5-axis vertical CNC milling machines
• Work with Fanuc controls
• Write and edit basic CNC programs (G-code)
• Program and operate positional indexers
• Read and interpret blueprints with working knowledge of GD&T
• Use precision measuring tools and gauges for first-piece and in-process inspection
• Maintain high accuracy, detail, and quality in all work
• Collaborate in a team-based shop environment
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of CNC milling setup experience
• Strong blueprint reading and machining knowledge
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or medical manufacturing preferred
• Solid understanding of inspection tools and tight tolerance work
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused
