The right candidate must have a proven hands-on background in precision manufacturing and be comfortable working on the shop floor most of the time. This is not a desk-only management position. The Quality Manager will actively participate in inspection, layout, problem-solving, and day-to-day manufacturing quality activities.
Key Responsibilities
Candidates with experience in aerospace manufacturing, precision machining, CNC manufacturing, metal manufacturing, or industrial manufacturing are strongly preferred.
A Quality Engineer with strong hands-on manufacturing and inspection experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage quality activities within a precision manufacturing environment.
- Work directly on the manufacturing floor and perform or oversee part inspection and layout.
- Inspect precision-machined components using appropriate measuring and inspection equipment.
- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and GD&T requirements.
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System.
- Support AS9100 and ISO 9001 compliance.
- Lead root cause analysis, corrective actions, and nonconformance investigations.
- Manage First Article Inspections (FAI) and quality documentation.
- Support internal, customer, and supplier audits.
- Work closely with CNC Machining, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Operations.
- Identify quality issues and implement practical corrective solutions.
- Develop and improve inspection processes, procedures, and quality standards.
- Lead, train, and support Quality personnel.
- Proven hands-on experience in precision manufacturing.
- Background as a Quality Manager, Quality Engineer, Quality Inspector, or similar manufacturing quality professional.
- Experience with CNC machining, precision inspection, or machine-shop environments.
- Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
- Experience with AS9100 and/or ISO 9001.
- Knowledge of inspection tools and methods, including precision measurement and layout.
- Experience with nonconformance, root cause analysis, corrective action, and FAI.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to work hands-on on the production floor.
