This position will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining detailed engineering drawings and 3D CAD models used in the design and manufacture of aerospace components, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies.

Key Responsibilities
- Create, modify, and maintain 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, layouts, assemblies, and supporting engineering documentation.
- Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, customer requirements, and technical documentation.
- Apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles to drawings and designs.
- Manage engineering changes, drawing revisions, configurations, and documentation.
- Incorporate engineering change requests and customer revisions into drawings and CAD models.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing to ensure designs are practical, producible, and manufacturable.
- Support the design and development of tooling, fixtures, jigs, and process-development equipment.
- Assist Engineering and Manufacturing teams in resolving production issues related to drawings or design.
- Support prototype, NPI (New Product Introduction), and production programs.
- Maintain accurate CAD files, drawing records, revisions, and engineering documentation.
- Work closely with Quality to ensure drawings meet applicable requirements and specifications.
- Ensure engineering drawings comply with company standards and applicable aerospace and customer requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities related to engineering and manufacturing processes.
- Associate's degree, technical degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- 2–5 years of CAD design/drafting experience, preferably within aerospace, precision manufacturing, or a similar environment.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Siemens NX, or comparable CAD software.
- Strong understanding of GD&T and engineering drawing interpretation.
- Experience creating detailed manufacturing and production drawings.
- Understanding of machining, fabrication, assemblies, tooling, or other precision manufacturing processes.
- Aerospace manufacturing experience is highly desirable.
- Ability to understand and apply engineering specifications and customer requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations teams.
