Summary:
Design and modify 2D drawings and 3D CAD models for aerospace components, tooling, fixtures, and assemblies while working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and modify 2D engineering drawings and 3D CAD models.
- Apply GD&T and interpret engineering specifications.
- Manage engineering changes, revisions, and drawing configurations.
- Design tooling, fixtures, and manufacturing support components.
- Support NPI, prototypes, production, and manufacturing issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of CAD design/drafting experience, preferably aerospace or precision manufacturing.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Siemens NX, or similar CAD software.
- Strong GD&T, drawing interpretation, and manufacturing knowledge.
