Title: Cost Accountant
Location: Meriden, Connecticut

- Experience: 2–4 years in cost accounting; manufacturing/aerospace preferred
- Education: Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Main responsibilities:
- Manage standard costing, job costing, and inventory valuation
- Analyze material, labor, and overhead variances
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
- Support government/defense contracts, GAAP, and DCAA audits
- Handle NPI/product costing and profitability analysis
- Work with SAP ERP or Epicor and advanced Excel
- Partner with engineering, production, and supply chain teams
Ideal candidate: A cost accountant with strong manufacturing accounting, variance analysis, standard costing, ERP, and inventory experience, ideally with exposure to aerospace or government contracting.
Preferred: CMA or CPA.
