We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead and oversee daily manufacturing operations within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This leadership role is responsible for driving production efficiency, maintaining quality standards, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day aerospace manufacturing operations, production scheduling, and workflow management.
- Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are consistently achieved.
- Lead and mentor production supervisors, technicians, and support staff.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost reduction.
- Maintain compliance with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100, FAA, and EASA regulations.
- Promote workplace safety and enforce health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to manage inventory, materials, and supplier performance.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage operational budgets, labor costs, and manufacturing expenditures.
- 8 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing operations.
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong understanding of aerospace manufacturing processes and quality systems.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- PMP or Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.
