We are seeking an experienced and passionate Fine Dining Server to join our esteemed restaurant team. As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for providing an unforgettable dining experience for our guests, ensuring that every detail is attended to with precision and care.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner, providing excellent guest relations throughout their dining experience.
- Present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverage selections.
- Take accurate orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems, ensuring all special requests are noted.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining the highest standards of service.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and resetting for new guests.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is essential.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is preferred.
- Strong culinary knowledge and understanding of food preparation techniques.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Sales skills with a focus on upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Previous experience in food service, including serving, bussing, or host/host roles is advantageous.
- Basic math skills for accurate order processing and cash handling.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of sanitation and food safety practices.
