The Wild Artichoke is a chef-driven, small-team restaurant looking for a reliable and versatile Line Cook who is comfortable working both hot and cold stations.
This is not a large corporate kitchen.
We are a tight, focused team where each cook plays an important role in service, prep, and daily execution.
What You'll Do
- Work both hot line and cold line depending on service needs
- Execute dishes with consistency, care, and attention to detail
- Assist with daily prep (vegetables, sauces, proteins, mise en place)
- Maintain a clean, organized station at all times
- Communicate clearly with the chef and teammates during service
- Support the team mindset — no silos, no egos
What We're Looking For
- Line cook experience preferred (restaurant or professional kitchen)
- Comfortable in a small kitchen with fast-paced service
- Able to switch tasks and stations without attitude
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and respect for the team
- Willing to learn and grow under a hands-on chef
This role is best suited for someone who wants stability and growth,
not someone jumping from kitchen to kitchen.
Schedule & Pay
- Full-time or Part-time
- Approximately 38 hours/week
- $21–$25/hour, based on experience and performance
- Pay increases based on skill, consistency, and responsibility
Important Notes
- This position requires physical stamina and standing for long hours
- Weekend and evening availability required
- If you prefer a large staff, fixed station only, or minimal responsibility,
- this may not be the right kitchen for you
