Branch Manager
Position Overview
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, including sales, logistics, inventory, and team leadership. This role partners closely with Sales and Operations leadership to drive branch performance, improve processes, and deliver a high level of customer service while supporting overall business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead daily branch operations, including sales, warehouse, inventory, and customer service
Maintain strong customer service standards and address performance gaps
Partner with Sales leadership on go-to-market strategies, vendor relations, and customer growth
Prospect and develop new customer relationships
Manage inventory health, including surplus, slow-moving, and discontinued stock
Drive branch sales performance, gross profit goals, and key performance metrics
Recruit, train, mentor, and develop branch staff; support succession planning
Ensure accurate inventory control, merchandising, and showroom presentation
Maintain compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures
Communicate regularly with corporate leadership and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
5–7 years of relevant sales experience
1–3 years of management experience preferred
Experience in low-voltage industries (fire & life safety, access control, surveillance, voice/data)
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems
Ability to travel occasionally and work some nights/weekends (under 10%)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role operates in a branch and warehouse environment with regular interaction with inventory, customers, and staff. Requires standing, walking, lifting up to 70 lbs occasionally, and use of standard office and warehouse equipment.
