Job Description
We are seeking an ambitious, hands-on Sous Chef to join a high-performing, scratch kitchen (Glen Mills, PA ). This is a strong opportunity for a culinary leader who thrives in high-volume service, enjoys developing teams, and is passionate about seasonal ingredients and quality execution.

This role is ideal for a Sous Chef or strong Lead Line Cook ready to step into a leadership position within a structured, chef-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Support daily BOH operations in a high-volume scratch kitchen
  • Lead, coach, and develop kitchen team members
  • Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
  • Assist with ordering, inventory, and prep execution
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
  • Help drive efficient service during peak volume
  • Support menu execution and seasonal features
  • Build a strong, positive kitchen culture

What We’re Looking For

  • 3 years experience in a high-volume scratch kitchen
  • Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, or strong Lead Line Cook background
  • Hands-on leadership style
  • Experience with team development and training
  • Organized and systems-driven approach
  • Menu execution and culinary fundamentals
  • ServSafe certification preferred
  • Strong work ethic and growth mindset

Schedule & Expectations

  • 45–55 hours per week
  • Hands-on leadership during peak service periods

Compensation
$55,000–$65,000 base salary
Bonus potential
