We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Manager / Restaurant Supervisor to join a dynamic, high-volume hospitality environment featuring a restaurant, bar, and vibrant outdoor dining space. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in an energetic setting and is passionate about delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Position Overview
The Assistant Manager / Supervisor supports the daily operations of the restaurant, bar, and outdoor pavilion. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth service, maintaining high standards, and leading the team during both opening and closing shifts.
What You’ll Do
- Lead and manage shifts, making real-time decisions to ensure seamless operations
- Supervise and coordinate front-of-house and bar staff
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and overall guest experience
- Resolve guest concerns related to food quality and service
- Assist with opening/closing procedures, including securing the property
- Monitor inventory and support cost control efforts (food, beverage, labor)
- Step into service roles as needed to support the team
- Provide coaching, direction, and performance feedback to staff
- Collaborate with leadership to improve sales and guest satisfaction
- Conduct end-of-night reports, adjustments, and basic financial reconciliation
- Ensure consistent team communication and a positive work environment
- Actively engage with guests (table touches) to ensure satisfaction
Back of House Support
- Maintain organization of storage areas, bars, and beverage rooms
- Support overall cleanliness and organization across kitchen and service areas
What We’re Looking For
- 1 year in a supervisory role (preferred)
- 2 years in the hospitality industry (required)
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and service standards
- Comfortable using POS systems and basic computer applications
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs
