We are seeking a hands-on, operator-minded General Manager to lead a new restaurant opening in the Kansas City market. This role is responsible for full P&L ownership, team leadership, and execution of high standards across FOH and BOH in a fast-paced, scratch kitchen environment.
This is an on-the-floor leadership role, not office-based, requiring strong financial discipline, team development skills, and a strong hospitality-first mindset.
Reports directly to the District Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Own full P&L performance, including revenue, labor, and COGS targets
- Lead daily restaurant operations across FOH and BOH
- Recruit, train, and develop high-performing teams
- Ensure consistent execution of service, food quality, and cleanliness standards
- Drive sales growth and guest satisfaction metrics
- Implement operational systems to support a new store opening and long-term performance
- Maintain accountability for KPIs tied to bonus and profit-sharing structure
- Act as an active floor leader during peak service periods
Qualifications
- 3–7 years of General Manager or senior restaurant leadership experience
- Strong background in full-service, scratch kitchen operations
- Proven experience managing $4M–$5M annual volume units
- Strong financial acumen (P&L, labor management, cost control)
- Experience hiring, training, and retaining FOH/BOH teams
- Local market knowledge preferred with strong community presence
- Ability to lead from the floor with an owner/operator mentality

Compensation & Incentives
