Assistant Manager – Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)
Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to support daily operations in a fast-paced Quick Service Restaurant environment. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining operational standards, and supporting team development while driving sales and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, including opening/closing shifts
- Lead, coach, and motivate team members to deliver excellent customer service
- Ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently met
- Support scheduling, labor management, and shift execution
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering and cost control
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health regulations
- Support training and development of new and existing employees
- Drive sales performance and help meet store KPIs
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a QSR or fast-paced restaurant environment (Shift Lead, Supervisor, or Assistant Manager preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- High level of accountability and reliability
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic understanding of restaurant operations, including cash handling and inventory
