Position Summary
The District Manager (DM) oversees multiple café locations within the region, ensuring operational excellence, financial performance, and consistent brand standards. This role provides leadership and support to General Managers and their teams, drives revenue growth, and ensures an exceptional guest experience across all cafés in the district.
The DM is responsible for coaching and developing management teams, monitoring operational and financial performance, and implementing company initiatives across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Operational & Financial Leadership
- Oversee operations for multiple café locations to ensure efficiency, quality, and consistency
- Monitor P&L statements, budgets, and sales performance for all locations; implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations
Leadership & Team Development
- Recruit, hire, and develop General Managers and key management staff
- Conduct coaching, performance reviews, and professional development for management teams
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and engagement across all locations
Guest Experience & Brand Standards
- Ensure each café delivers a consistent, high-quality guest experience
- Monitor customer feedback and implement service recovery strategies
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all cafés adhere to company standards and culture
Sales & Marketing
- Support local marketing initiatives and regional campaigns to drive sales and brand awareness
- Implement strategies to grow catering and special event revenue across the district
- Analyze sales trends and work with GMs to develop action plans for revenue growth
Operational Oversight & Compliance
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure operational excellence and adherence to company standards
- Monitor café appearance, equipment, and inventory management
- Ensure all staff are trained in guest service, food safety, and operational procedures
Operational Flexibility
- Work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays, to support district needs
- Provide hands-on support during peak periods or staffing shortages
Qualifications
- 5 years of multi-unit management experience in QSR, fast casual, or bakery café operations
- Proven track record managing P&L, labor, and operational performance across multiple locations
- Strong leadership and coaching skills, with ability to develop high-performing management teams
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- High emotional intelligence with ability to work with diverse teams and franchise partners
- Passion for hospitality, community-focused service, and team development
- Ability to travel frequently within the district

Salary : $95,000 - $105,000
