A growing fast casual restaurant concept is seeking a results-driven District Manager to provide leadership and operational oversight for multiple restaurant locations within a defined geographic region. This role is responsible for ensuring strong operational execution, driving sales and profitability, and developing high-performing restaurant management teams.
The District Manager will directly supervise Restaurant Managers, ensuring each location meets brand standards for service, food quality, cleanliness, and financial performance. This leader will also play a key role in talent development, coaching restaurant leaders, and supporting new restaurant openings.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Financial Performance
- Provide leadership and supervision for multiple restaurant locations (typically 6 or more units) within the assigned market.
- Develop annual operating budgets aligned with company profitability goals.
- Analyze financial performance and provide direction to Restaurant Managers to drive sales growth and maximize profitability.
- Ensure strong labor management, cost control, and operational discipline across all locations.
- Conduct regular restaurant visits, including periodic unannounced inspections, to ensure operational standards are maintained.
Leadership & Talent Development
- Directly manage and coach Restaurant Managers, holding them accountable for operational performance and leadership standards.
- Develop high-potential managers and prepare them for advancement opportunities.
- Provide ongoing mentorship through coaching, role modeling, and leadership development initiatives.
- Support the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of Restaurant Managers and leadership team members.
- Work closely with newly promoted managers to strengthen both technical and leadership capabilities.
Operational Standards & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- Investigate and resolve employee concerns, complaints, and conflicts that cannot be resolved at the restaurant level.
- Oversee cash control procedures and conduct regular cash audits.
- Investigate and address security or financial discrepancies in partnership with corporate leadership.
- Verify completion of employee training programs and certifications across all restaurants.
Guest Experience & Brand Standards
- Ensure all restaurants maintain exceptional guest service standards and consistently deliver high-quality food and hospitality.
- Personally address escalated guest complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor restaurant appearance, cleanliness, and team presentation.
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Partner with Restaurant Managers to support local marketing initiatives and community engagement efforts.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotions and drive guest traffic.
Communication & Culture
- Maintain strong vertical and horizontal communication across restaurant teams and leadership.
- Share operational updates, best practices, promotions, and company initiatives across the district.
- Encourage employee feedback and maintain open communication channels throughout the organization.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and harassment-free workplace environment.
New Store Openings
- Support and supervise the opening of new restaurant locations within the district.
- Assist with hiring, training, and operational setup for new units.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Ability to analyze operational and financial performance and implement improvements.

Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $95,000 – $105,000 per year
