The Opportunity
We partner with manufacturers across Zeeland seeking Process Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.
Key Responsibilities
- Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and quality improvement.
- Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Troubleshoot process deviations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze process data to identify trends, performance metrics, and areas for improvement.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including SOPs and P&IDs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new products and processes into production.
- Ensure processes comply with safety, environmental, and quality regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
- 3 years of experience in process optimization and troubleshooting within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in process control systems (DCS/PLC) and statistical process control (SPC).
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable process improvements.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent communication and project management skills for cross-functional collaboration.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Familiarity with automation and control systems (e.g., PLCs, DCS)
- Project management experience or PMP certification
