Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Execute timely repairs and replacements of defective parts or components.
- Install and commission new production equipment and machinery.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used.
- Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical systems.
- 2 years of experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) troubleshooting
- Welding and fabrication skills (e.g., MIG, TIG)
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or Continuous Improvement methodologies
