Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical power, control, and lighting systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical malfunctions in industrial machinery and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal operation.
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Adhere strictly to all electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Calibrate and adjust electrical components and instrumentation.
- Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and motor control centers.
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial electrical systems (PLCs, motor controls, VFDs).
- Strong understanding and adherence to NFPA 70E, OSHA regulations, and the National Electrical Code (NEC).
- Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Proven experience with preventative and corrective maintenance of electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced PLC programming and troubleshooting experience (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell)
- Experience with industrial robotics maintenance and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with instrumentation and process control systems (e.g., calibration, loop tuning)
- Certified in Arc Flash safety procedures or high-voltage electrical work
