Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade industrial electrical components and control systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical infrastructure to ensure operational reliability.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes, standards, and regulations (e.g., NEC, NFPA 70E).
- Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for troubleshooting and basic programming.
- Calibrate and maintain electrical instrumentation and sensing devices.
- Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification/apprenticeship completion.
- 3-5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Demonstrated experience with motor control circuits, VFDs, and PLC troubleshooting.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical safety codes (e.g., NFPA 70E, NEC) and lockout/tagout procedures.
- PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor control systems
- Certification or advanced training in NFPA 70E (Electrical Safety in the Workplace)
- Experience with industrial robotics electrical systems
